I joined Slavic pagan group before many years. But it tkae long time to choose right group. The first group i joined was only about money. Second group was more natural but they do some rituals from others pagan religions. After long time i find third group who is natural Slavic. We do rituals but no that big as you do. We are group around 20 people. We do own clothes, swords, shields, bows.

I’m American and I actually live in NYC - the “New” York as opposed to the “old” York - but I lived in Britain from 1997-2000, which for me was years 7-9. I visited Lindisfarne for school and later again, out of my family’s wish to visit further. Thank you for this, I’ll treasure it. I most recently visited with my wife in 2023 towards the end of the pandemic, can’t wait to plan the next visit to Holy Island and revisit tranquility.

I know what you mean I’ve suffered with depression and anxiety for years now. It comes and goes in bouts but I’ve become much better at managing it the older I get (36 now). Whenever my mood is starting to feel a bit low and I can feel myself starting to go that way I always just go a spend some time in my local woodland or down my allotment. Both just seem to have a way of giving me that lift that I need

I met the Green Man on DMT and heard from someone who Met him on mushrooms… and I believe that all of our ancestors from every continent were likely (maybe accidentally/unknowingly) consuming psychotropic substances like psilocybin or DMT, and entering a world of spirits where the Green Man is very much alive and real. I didn’t know about the green Man during the experience… I’ve landed here after researching to explain it to myself…. And it was shocking how similar the green man artwork is to how he looked. He was a giant and actually had brown skin like a tree trunk, and seemingly created the universe by dreaming it and singing it into existence.. for from his face sprung nature and life after seemingly waking up and merging with me and singing a song with me (glossalia, speaking tongues) while showing a satisfied look and subtly signaling to me that it’s okay… I was trying to sing and even ask questions throug by the lyrics but I could only affect half a word without him pushing it to a different new word, and our words were shifting and melting together while retaining the meaning, and somehow I’d ask a question and he’d rearrange my words before the end of the sentence in a way that they became the answer by the time the sentence was over. All while leafs were flowing from his face, even evolving into what looked like roads and cars… like the entire universe sprang out of this man’s face when he awoke and we sung together. It was an amazing experience. I believe it was the Green Man, whom is also the Dagda and Freyr. I think!

Nice shirt… cut it yourself? (I’m betting you did). And what is it about book shops and libraries?… I absolutely love them, I could live there. But I really don’t read a lot of books…😂 I do read, usually research. I hope we get an overview of that book, btw. Sounds awesome! I mean Druids we’re basically political shaman right? Keeping the king in check… Keeping the land healthy… Etc. 9:16 Only one candle for the entire year?!… talk about fasting! 10:05 I used to draw crazy things and “monsters”… my mom was worried as well… lol I was always coloring or drawing instead of doing school work or playing with other kids. 12:22 I like to hang out in the bean section of the garden and reflect on Henry David Thoreau. Walden was one of my favorite “books” of all time for sure! (He grew beans, and uses them as an example for society at one point in the essay). I need space for a garden again. I want to go back to Portland. 😕 See ya next time. 🙏🤍

To be honest I have no recipe, I just chop up any vegetables I want very small and put them in along with a good heaping of lentils and beans (this time I had dried mung beans). I simmer it with boiling water and stock (could be from a cube, bottle or homemade), and add whatever spices and herbs, usually turmeric, black pepper, salt, fresh ginger and mixed herbs. I just check it often to see if it needs more water or not, usually I simmer it for about 30-45 mins :) Hope you enjoy the season!

Wonderful video. Such a pretty garden. Love the soup you made at the end. It's great that you grow many of your own vegetables - healthier and better for the planet w/o the plastic produce bags. / The book you were browsing through at 2:05, Art of the Celts, is really nice and reminded me of a book I have, Celtic Art: Symbols & Imagery by Miranda Green. It's really interesting and full of many color photos of Celtic art. / I'm just getting over Covid (8 days later). I had more body aches this 2nd time around, and I really felt quite depressed myself. Better now, so I rode my bike today, but for too long (in 95 F weather) and got queasy. Felt better after a couple of electrolyte drinks. Rain or shine, we must take care of our bodies and spirits. Anyway, I wish you well and a beautiful September to you! 🤎🍁🍵💛🫖🍂🧡

I bet you would love it here in Washington State, you should visit sometime. The fall is the best time to do so too. We call January to June "Junuary" sometimes, because although we do have sunny days or years that are more sunny than others, that's the most likely time to have long bouts of grey skies and forget what the sun looks like lol. They from about June to early August it's just hot and sunny and almost never rains. When I say hot I guess that's relative. Mostly 70s to 80s (F) but we usually get at least 3 days in the 90s or higher. Then mid August you start getting what I call "glorious fall days" because the sun has started to loose its strength, but it's still sunny and dry. The edge is off the heat and you can just go out and drink in the sun. At this time of year I like to drink in the "fermenting forest wine" smell of the woods. It smells like someone is making wine from leaves and blackberries or something. It's very heady. At some point in September we will start to get a touch more rain. But it can stay glorious until deep in October. Samhain is always the turning point. All the way up until Oct 30, when I was a child, I would plan some costume or amazingly long truck or treat route that would finally get me a full pillowcase of candy. And then exactly on Samhain the weather would turn and we would have rain or bitter cold and I had to add layers to my costume to stay warm and I would have to retreat home after once around the block for candy to get warm and dry again. In November is when we get heavy rain storms and strong wind storms. December is frosty but calm, then January is when we are likely to get at least 3 days of sub zero temps and a big fall of snow. But nobody every shovels their driveway because it will be melted after a few days. And then it starts all over. For some reason this year the weather was like a yoyo. We go February heat and sun. Then March grey and rain, then April heat and sun. Then May grey and rain. It really made a weird season actually. All the Maple trees have powder mildew and a lot more weeds got it too than normal. Very strange weather year

so agree that nature connection is crucial. when you look at traditional societies, far back ancestors, they were all directly dependent on the world around them for survival and they very much understood they were connected to the natural world in a reciprocal relationship. paganism and witchcraft is one way that people from modern western societies (not saying paganism and witchcraft are limited to those societies) are reconnecting with that relationship to the earth that modernity and industry and agribusiness and capitalism has twisted, obscured, and diminished.

Beautiful video, Luna! I hope your procedure goes smoothly. I'm sure you'll be "right as rain" afterwards (the British have such positive expressions!). I had a weird hernia thing 2 years ago, and I never had surgery before in my life. I loved the general anesthesia, though. They patched me up well. / I really like the jewelry you got and the little notebook you made. / Don't feel bad about not making more videos. I actually feel bad when I miss a few. We all get busy, so no worries. Well, I hope you get better soon, and maybe get a little more sunshine before Autumn arrives. Take care and we'll see you soon! 😄💐🌼🌻🌺🏵🌿🐇💕
